Overview

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most famous game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game. There are also a variety of bird species in the reserve. Guests also have a chance of visiting Maasai villages where they get to know more about the Maasai culture, food and way of life. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any would be visitor to Kenya mainly in July to October of each year.The wildebeest migartion is one of the world’s most thrilling, intriguing and spectacular displays of wildlife behavior.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Pick up from Nairobi at 8am and drive southwards along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with stop over at the viewpoint. Then proceed to Masai Mara via Narok town.Arrrivla and check in at the hotel.Afternnon spent at leisure. Later proceed for evening game drive which is well known for its rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lode/camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

After early breakfast with picnic lunch you spent full day exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You have the chance to visit Mara river the boarder of Masai Mara and the famous Serengeti park where there is concentration of many animals especially the time you will be traveling. All meals and overnight at the hotel/lodge/camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Pre-morning game drive and after late breakfast depart Masai Mara with picnic lunch arriving Nairobi in the evening at around 5pm drop off in Nairobi.
