Overview

ITINERARY: NAIROBI x1*ABERDARES x1*SHABA x2*NAKURU x1*MARA x2*NAIROBI X2*DEPART

Kenya has a variety of things to offer when it comes to safaris. Starting from the northern part which has the special five which are; Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gravy zebra, beisa oryx and secretary bird and down to the aberdares where there are tree hotels that allow you to view animals as they come to drink water from the waterhole. As you head to Masai Mara National park you pass through the great rift valley with scenic views through Lake Nakuru National Park which has a variety of bird species. Maasai Mara has variety of wildlife including the big five and the wildebeest migration which happens between July and October each year.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi (Half Board)

1800hrs: You will be met by one of our representatives at the airport who will transfer you to Sarova Panafric Hotel for check in.
1930hrs: Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: The Aberdares National Park (Full Board)

0830hrs: Breakfast is served at the hotel.
0930hrs: Check out and depart for Aberdares National Park which is located Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya located east of the East African Rift Valley.
1230hrs: Arrival and check in at The Ark Hotel.
1400hrs: Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon spent at Leisure
1600hrs: Relax on the deck as you watch the animals come to drink water at the waterhole.
1900hrs: Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Shaba National Reserve (Full Board)

0700hrs: Breakfast served at the hotel.
0800hrs: Check out and depart for Shaba National reserve via Nanyuki town which is known as the gateway to Mt Kenya.
1200hrs: Arrival and check in at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
1300hrs: Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure
1600hrs: Depart the lodge for an evening game drive
1900hrs: Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Shaba National Reserve (Full Board)

0630hrs: Wakeup call and depart the lodge for an early morning game drive.
0830hrs: Back to the lodge for breakfast. Leisure time follows.
1300hrs: Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure
1600hrs: Depart the lodge for an evening game drive.
1900hrs: Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park (Full Board)

0700hrs: Breakfast is served at the lodge
0800hrs: Check out and depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru National Park via Nyahururu road with exciting views of the land scape.
1300hrs: Arrival and check in at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge
1330hrs: Lunch is served at the lodge.
1600hrs: Depart the lodge for an evening game drive
1900hrs: Back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve (Full Board)

0630hrs: Breakfast is served at Lodge.
0730hrs: Check out and depart the lodge with a game drive enroute via narok town which supports Kenya's economy in south-west of the country, along the Great Rift Valley.
1300hrs: Arrival and check in at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
1330hrs: Lunch is served at the lodge. Afternoon Spent at Leisure
1600hrs: Depart the lodge for an evening game drive. You will be able to see the big five animals and also a variety of bird species.
1900hrs: Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve (Full Board)

Day 8: Nairobi (Full board)

0630hrs: Wake up call, breakfast and check out of the hotel with a game drive enroute. You will pass mai mahiu town and the great rift valley view point.
1300hrs: Arrival and check in at the Ole sereni Hotel. Lunch is served at hotel and afternoon spent at leisure.
1900hrs: Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Nairobi (Full board)

0630hrs: Depart the hotel for an early morning game drive.
0830hrs: Back to the hotel for breakfast.
0930hrs: Depart the lodge and head to David Sheldrick which is home to the endangered species of elephants.
1130hrs: Proceed to Giraffe Centre where you will have a chance to feed the giraffes with the help of a guide.
1300hrs: Depart and head to the Carnivore restaurant for BBQ lunch. It serves a variety of game meat to your satisfaction. Vegetarians also have a chance to enjoy a sumptuous meal.
1500hrs: Head back to the hotel
1900hrs: Dinner and overnight at the hotel. You can opt for a night out in Nairobi city and enjoy the night life.

Day 10: Depart

0830hrs: Breakfast is served at the Hotel.
1000hrs: Check out and transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
1100hrs: Arrival at the airport in time for your departure flight.
